Assess your safeguarding practices with the ALIS Self-Assessment Tool !

This tool has been developed to support sports organisations in reviewing and strengthening their safeguarding policies and practices. Creating a safe, respectful, and supportive sporting environment is essential to ensure that all participants can take part in sport free from harm, abuse, or inappropriate behaviour.

The self-assessment consists of 17 questions covering the following key areas: safeguarding policy and commitment, responsibilities, codes of conduct, safe recruitment, risk management, education, rights, and reporting. It should take about 10 minutes to complete.

Based on your responses, the tool will provide an overview of your organisation’s current level of safeguarding implementation. The results can help identify strengths as well as areas where further development may be beneficial.

You may complete the assessment at any time and repeat it whenever needed to monitor progress and support continuous improvement within your organisation.

The development of this tool was inspired by existing European safeguarding self-assessment initiatives for grassroots sport.

We hope this tool provides valuable insights and practical guidance to strengthen safeguarding practices in your organisation.
